I accomplished some things today. I picked up my mini Buffy lunch boxes. They are just too cool, especially since three of the six have Oz on them and one has Buffy and Spike from Something Blue. They are filled with little stake-shaped bubblegum. It really takes very little to make this chica giddy. I almost got my room totally clean too. All I have to do now is dust. Yeah me!
My big accomplishment today, I got a “Marilyn.” What the hell is a “Marilyn” you ask? This is a “Marilyn.” And yes, it hurt but not anymore than....say....childbirth. Of course, nowhere near THAT painful, or that long for that matter. Unfortunately they only had long bars so right now it sticks out quite a bit. I can actually see it when I look down which is kind of like having a big zit on your face, except it’s silver. (Okay, I’m tired.) I got it done at Skin Thieves here in Sedalia. They are supposed to be getting some new, shorter, labrets in two weeks, which is about the time it should be healed up. I’ve wanted to do this for a long time and I’m glad I did. I love it! When I got home my just-turned-three niece said, “Aunt Dawnie, take it out!” I told her I couldn’t take it out and she said, “awww...just take it out.” It was cute. Now if I can just keep it from getting infected. I’ve done pretty well with taking care of my tattoos so this shouldn’t be a problem. Now, I just can’t wait to see what Nick says. And, I have a meeting with his teacher March 13. That should be interesting. I’m starting to wonder if I’m going to feel like The Mole on Austin Powers: Gold Member...heh.
Here’s to hoping I don’t whack myself in the mouth during the night!!
