MUSIC: Alice in Chains/Candlebox/Pearl Jam/Soundgarden Mix

Check out this little bit of interesting info, at least I think so. Spent most the day sleeping and the other part watching movies. Remember the movie "Light of Day" with Michael J. Fox and Joan Jett from 1987? I watched the end of it tonight and on reading the credits, something I like to do with older movies cause you just never know whose name you will see. Lo and behold, there is a name I recognize. Trent Reznor was actually in "Light of Day." Kind of a cool little tidbit of info.

I guess I should cover Halloween. It was FUCKIN' COLD!!!!! Nick was a blue ninja and got BUTT LOADS of candy. I WILL be needing dental insurance very soon.

My "sex partner", who shall from here out be known as Jay, left on Wednesday after taking me to the Health Department and waiting oh so patiently for about 1-1/2 hours while I was inside. My Goddess, he didn't even complain about it. But really how could he, I got flavored condoms...seriously;

I figured we could make a banana split! All that is missing is the Cherry but there's not much I can do about that now. Oh my.....I kill me! hehe! Sybil..let me know if you want some of these. ;)

Anyhoo...he left Wednesday. Halloween my sister and I took the kids around the neighborhood, over to my grandmas house, my sisters work and to my sisters daughters fathers house (that was just exhaustive, sisters daughters father.....geesh!). Coming down the street towards the house my sister notices the porch light is on. I was sure I turned that off. Pulling into the driveway....well fuck me (please) who is there? Jay! I was surprised. My sisters says, "what is he doing here?" He had driven all the way up from Columbia. When he left Wednesday I was sad to see him leave and I could tell he didn't want to go either. But, we both have things to do and we both know that. He opened my door for me and helped me carry all the bags of candy, food, beer (which I bought because I thought I'd be sitting around by myself). It was cool. People so rarely surprise me anymore....I expect them to all disappoint pretty much.

It just occurred to me that I haven't totally explained the situation. Jay is someone my sister and I have known for about 13 years. I met him when I worked in a laundry mat back in Columbia, MO. He used to hang around with us - Ian, me, Brandy, Kirby. He and my sis have kept in contact over the years. About three months ago his wife took the kids and left him (she had three or four kids, of which he adopted them all, when they met and they have one together). I guess there had been a jealousy component and he hadn't seen my sister for a while. With the wife gone he decided to look my sister up again. Their's has been a friendship, although he at some point really liked her and hoped there would be more. But, he is a hard worker and not a bad guy so what the hell would she want with him! (I say that but I am the same way....or was....or am trying to or not to be...heh).

So, by Halloween we have been together twice and my sister has no idea. He says; "she has to know, she HAS to know." I tell him; "No she doesn't, NO she doesn't." Okay, she knows SOMETHING is going on, but still thinks he is here to see her. Me in all my drinking glory finally says, "since we've already fucked..." or something to that effect and bang...."no way!." I don't know if it was a "no way why would he fuck you when he is here to see me" or what but....now she knows. And he was just floored that I just came out and said it. Boy...I feel better. And I kept the poor guy up until 4:30 a.m. that night. Poor fella. I'm gainin' on ya Sybil ;)
